This is a working draft and is being reviewed.
Terms of use
Last updated September 13, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and PlayBetter when you use the website and app at getplaybetter.com. By creating an account or using PlayBetter, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who can use PlayBetter
You must be at least 13 years old to create your own account. Athletes under 13 may use PlayBetter only through an account created and managed by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Coaches should not share a login with athletes.
- Tell us at cooperwon2009@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.
Acceptable use
Please use PlayBetter the way it is meant to be used. You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, or embarrass anyone, including through game stats, notes, or roster details.
- Add someone to a team or enter information about them without the right to do so.
- Try to see data that is not yours, share invite codes publicly to let strangers join a team, or get around privacy settings.
- Break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service, or use it for anything illegal.
Athlete safety
PlayBetter gives training information: movement scores, drills, workouts, and plans. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose or treat injuries or health conditions. Scores from a phone camera are estimates and can be wrong.
- Stop any drill or workout right away if you feel pain, dizziness, or something does not feel right.
- Talk with a coach, athletic trainer, or doctor before starting a new training program, and before training through an injury.
- Train with appropriate supervision, equipment, and space.
Content coaches enter
Coaches are responsible for the team names, rosters, schedules, lineups, and game stats they enter, and for having permission to include each athlete. Coaches keep ownership of that content and give PlayBetter permission to store and display it to the right people so the service can work. Athletes and parents who see something wrong can ask the coach to fix it, or contact us.
You own the information you add to your own account, and you give us permission to store and process it only to provide PlayBetter to you.
Beta status and changes
PlayBetter is in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and some connections to other services are simulated. The service is free during beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price before you are charged, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
We may update these terms. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above and let you know. Continuing to use PlayBetter after that means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimers
PlayBetter is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will improve any athlete's performance, earn a roster spot, or prevent injury.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PlayBetter and Cooper Won are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injuries resulting from training activities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using PlayBetter at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing cooperwon2009@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limitation of liability, still apply after an account is closed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
